Veronica Caffarelli si diploma all’Accademia internazionale di moda e del costume Koefia di Roma. Il suo primo impegno lavorativo è nel settore dell’alta moda italiana, responsabilità che la vede coinvolta nella gestione del prodotto di importanti case di moda italiane. È un impegno che la porterà a viaggiare molto, in Europa e all’estero. Molto in Asia, anche per ragioni familiari. Parallelamente al suo lavoro in azienda, Veronica sviluppa la sua passione per il gioiello frequentando una scuola formativa e dei laboratori artigiani. Il passaggio dal settore della moda a quello del gioiello avviene nel 2009, quando si trasferisce in Argentina per ragioni familiari. A Buenos Aires si diploma alla scuola di gioielleria contemporanea di Maria De Medici e frequenta lo studio orafo del maestro Jorge Castañon e della disegnatrice Fabiana Gadano. Sempre nella capitale argentina frequenta il seminario di lacca giapponese 1 e 2 con la Prof. Francine Schloeth. Veronica testimonia la vivacità latino americana nel settore della gioielleria partecipando al Simposio di gioielleria contemporanea Area Gris, fondazione Otro Diseño, a Città del Messico. Rientrata in Italia, crea il proprio marchio “Veronica Caffarelli Gioielli”. Veronica da vita nel suo laboratorio a gioielli nei quali convergono esperienze, colori, tecniche e materiali di 3 continenti. Europa, America Latina e Asia. |
Graduating In Fashion Design and Product Development at Rome’s prestigious “Koefia” International Fashion Academy, Veronica Caffarelli’s first-hand experience began with managing and curating products for prominent Italian fashion houses, thus allowing her to travel extensively, both in Europe and the Far East.Always observant of new ideas and techniques, Veronica Caffarelli extended her interest and savvy towards the jewelry sector. Working actively within the fashion industry, she began attending jewelry artisan workshops and courses in her ambition to blend both artistic concepts.In 2009 Veronica Caffarelli made an important career transition when she relocated to Argentina for family commitments. She attended and graduated at the Contemporary Jewelry Academy in Buenos Aires run by the acclaimed “Prof. Maria de Medici” and produced artisanal work under the patronage of “Master Jorge Castañon” and designer “Fabiana Gadano”. During her stay she attended seminars on Japanese lacquer techniques by “Prof. Francine Schloeth”, and participated in the exhibition “Area Gris Symposium of contemporary jewelry” held in Mexico City by the Otro Diseno Foundation.
Launching her own brand, “Veronica Caffarelli Gioielli”, upon her return to Italy, her work is characterized by experiences, colors, techniques, and materials from three diverse continents merging in perfect harmony. The combination of technical and cultural traditions from Europe, Latin America and Asia lends to her competence in creating sharp, identifiable and decipherable artworks.
